New Certification – Protocol to Overcome Fear of Dogs in Kids

GOOD NEWS!

Good news from founder of KAD Kids Around Dogs Debby Lucken.  Following my final assessment, Hanne is certified to implement the Protocol to Overcome the Fear of Dogs in Kids.

What does this mean?  This new certification means Hanne is qualified to work professionally with children who are scared of dogs and need help to conquer their cynophobia, using cognitive behavioural training.

If you have a child or know anyone who has a child with a fear of dogs, please do get in touch.

This latest certification supports the years of work Hanne has undertaken working with families and their dogs to help set them up for success, studies in the pre- and post-partum owner-dog relationship, as well presenting to numerous primary and secondary school children about safety around dogs and how to keep pets happy & healthy in support of the Blue Cross.

Hi, I’ve never before heard of anyone providing a service to overcome fear of dogs which is fabulous. I’m an adult however who has a fear of dogs, is your course only for children or do you work with adults too?
I have become slightly better since having my own children but it restricts a large part of my life for example I would never go for a walk along canal or a run in our wonderful countryside because of my fear of dogs.
Best regards
Deborah

Hi Debbie

Many thanks for your comment. The Protocol to Overcome the Fear of Dogs programme is geared towards children specifically, however, we have found that parents who have a fear of dogs can benefit as they accompany their child through the programme. I would suggest a chat as that way we could discuss the option of tailoring the programme for the adult learner; if this is something you would like to consider, please do email me at hanne@doglistener.tv.

Best wishes,
Hanne
